Manchester United made a winning start to their pre-season tour of the United States with a 2-1 win over West Ham United at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
United scooped all three points in their opening game of the Premier League Summer Series via a brace from captain Bruno Fernandes.
The United ace scored either side of half-time to put United into a deserved two-goal lead, before Jarrod Bowen halved the deficit with a strong finish with just under half an hour left to play.
Fernandes put United in front with just five minutes on the clock, slotting home a penalty, before doubling their lead shortly after half-time with an excellent finish.
Head coach Ruben Amorim will have been able to take plenty of positives from the game, with United's collective performance offering plenty of encouragement. There was also a series of bright individual showings.
Next up for the Reds in the Premier League Summer Series is a clash with Bournemouth in Chicago in midweek.

In Stockholm a week earlier, Hojlund vented at Diogo Dalot for delaying a pass. Within a minute of kick-off in New Jersey, he was played through by Cunha and smacked the post.
